One Pin Per Week

On May 22nd 2013, I officially have 1,578 pins. I believe that of those 1,578 I have perhaps ‘made’ approximately 1,575 of those. Give or take 3. Ok – really, to be fair, some of these pins are jokes that make me laugh; photos of a home that I may never realize for years; wise words; or one of my favorite “boards”…the one of adorable and beautiful animals. So really, if I just focus on the stuff that I have intentionally pinned in order to eat, craft, or otherwise put to use in my life, I would estimate that there are at LEAST 800. (Because let’s face it, most of the stuff I pin anyway is about food…and eating…or fitness and dieting lol)!

I think a lot of times we don’t try these new pins because it takes that extra effort, and we usually “default” to what we know (our 'go-to meals') or what is easy. And in an effort to shake things up a bit AND to actually TRY some of this stuff, I have decided that I am going to do at LEAST one pin a week and then let you all know how it turned out.

A week you say?? That’s not exciting! OF COURSE I started out by saying one a day! If you know me at all, you already guessed that! OF COURSE I wanted to say and DO one a day, with the zeal of that crazy girl who did one of Julia Child’s recipes each day for 365 days (did you SEE how miserable she was at times?) but I have at least matured to the point where I know that is not possible :)

Now if you have done the math, and if I never add one more pin to my boards (IMPOSSIBLE), then you have figured out that it’s going to take me more or less the next 15 years to accomplish this goal. Lol. But that’s ok. So it's at LEAST one a week, and if I feel like being over-ambitious some weeks, maybe you’ll see a few more. But we are going into Summer, people.
