"a team building activity where teams of between 2 and 10 people are pitted in a scenario and given the task to escape within an hour’s time. Teams must be able to communicate & rely on each other and their abilities in order to solve puzzles & progress through the adventure. Puzzles at The Locked Room require a variety of different skill set" (https://www.thelockedroom.ca)
Our scenario was "Mutiny on the High Seas". It really was fun and we made it out with two minutes to spare - and only asked for one clue. I would totally recommend it. Only thing is that if you don't have a full group for the particular room, you could be matched up with people you don't know, and I think it's much more fun if you all know each other.
So Day 10 today, and also Thanksgiving Dinner for many of us. There really is so much to be thankful and I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Today's smoothie is "Southern Swiss". For some reason, their instagram account today and yesterday shows repeats of smoothies already done earlier in the 30 day challenge. I am going off the recipes they have emailed out ahead of time. Not sure if that is just some kind of glitch...
Anyway, as one may correctly assume, this recipe calls for swiss chard. I did use a little bit of it with my usual spinach. It was pretty good. It included some coconut oil which (when blended up) reminded me a bit of Bulletproof Coffee. Has anyone tried it? After having worked in coffee for 5 years, I must say I am more of a purist, and that Bulletproof Coffee is well, disgusting. But some people love it, and it's apparently very healthy. (You can see the white bits in my photo).
K - must run. I am off to my Sunday morning walk with one of my closest friends and I am hoping she can be convinced to stop for coffee and a muffin at Annie's Bakery this morning, along the way!
Happy Thanksgiving!
