Simple Green Smoothies - Day 14

I am absolutely in love with Brene Brown's work. I just finished her book "Daring Greatly" last night, but also have been listening over and over to one of her interview's on How She Really Does It. Very recently Brene was interviewed by Oprah also, and have been able to watch it more than once thanks to my handy PVR. 

What she says makes so much sense, and I am very interested in how it relates to parenting. I am working on a blog entry about this as there's much to explore and share. In the meantime, I would highly recommend Daring Greatly to anyone -- I picked up her newest book yesterday called Rising Strong. Can't WAIT to read that one!

Today I made "Pumpkin Dream Pie". It was really quite good. I forgot to add the vanilla. Whoops. 

So I think I figured out the big puzzle of repeating smoothies, thanks to an instagram follower of Simple Green Smoothies: "they send you five recipes each week so on your off days you can repeat your favourites or make up your own". It kind of helps. Truthfully, I am still a bit confused. I haven't had to repeat a day yet, but if I don't get new recipes today, I will have to repeat. No biggie. 

I have been making these smoothies first thing in the morning which is great because I am not drinking coffee on an empty stomach. (I am sure my stomach lining appreciates that). The bad thing is that I literally have just woken up and am quite frankly not photogenic at this time of day. haha.
